About Me

My name is Nicole. I’m from Birmingham, AL and currently reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. I received an associates degree in office administration, then I went back to school and became a licensed cosmetologist, and currently studying to become a Clinical Dietitian later pursing a Phd in Nutritional Science. Yes, I have accomplish so much and I’m still learning and growing. My own healthy lifestyle journey has encouraged me to help you. I too have my own struggles with living a healthy lifestyle. I work everyday to improve myself mentally and physical. I started this blog to document my journey and hoping to help others along the way. We all have gifts/talents and helping others change their lifestyle is one my gifts. I have helped so many people along the way because of the passion and love that I have for better health.

Growing up we lived an unhealthy lifestyle. I grew up living in an low income neighborhood and the only food that was accessible was fast food or convenient store foods. I watched some of my family members suffer from diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure and high blood pressure. I witness the foods that they consumed on a daily basis and know for a fact that eating highly processed foods caused them to become ill. No matter what the doctors said they continued to eat unhealthy because they simply didn’t know what to eat and how to eat it or simply couldn’t afford to eat healthy. My experience with my own family encouraged me to go back to school to learn more about nutrition. I want to share what I learned along the way and how changing your lifestyle can help break that family cycle of unhealthy diets that can eventually lead to unwanted diseases.

Not only do I help others, I helped myself lose over 45lbs while being a stay at home mom and college student. I learned that consistency is one of the keys to changing your lifestyle. If you want it bad enough you will be willing to take the necessary steps to get healthy. Im here to encourage others to change their mindsets first and then proceed to the next step of changing physically. Your mental health is more important that your physical health.

Lets work on living healthy either way, it doesn’t matter your circumstances. With my brains and understanding, I can help you achieve a happy, healthier life but only if you want it.

Continue to join me on my journey to get others healthier.
